I’m always on the lookout for great design in small spaces, such is the life of a Chicago renter.

Fortunately, more and more people are talking about designing small spaces and on a budget to boot.

These websites are brilliant and answer the tough questions like which lamp to buy or what paint color works in your dining room?

Houzz categorizes design by style, i.e contemporary vs. traditional. It’s a great spot for defining your decorating style and what works for you.

 

Apartment Therapy is a site chock full of how to’s, design answers and room inspirations. They even include budget and living green solutions.

HGTV goes without saying.

Real Simple is a great place for organize tricks and tips.
