Product testing: L’Oreal’s Extraordinaire Colour Riche gloss

I recently did a product review for Glamour Magazine and I wanted to share the results for L’Oreal’s new lip gloss, Extraordinaire by Colour Riche, which retails for $10.

I received three shades:

Blushing Harmony: A neutral, dusty rose that goes with everything.

Coral Encore: Although it’s described as a coral, it’s really more of a coral pink. I really liked this shade, but I would be disappointed if I were looking for a perfect coral.

Ruby Opera: A bright red that’s not too dark or bright, I was able to wear it to work.

Pro’s: The packaging is really chic, the gloss is super pigmented and has major staying power. Even after the gloss wore off, my lips still had color on them. Last, the gloss is surprisingly moisturizing!

Con’s: The smell of the gloss is a tad off-putting, it’s too sweet for my taste. As I mentioned above, the names of the colors don’t exactly correspond with the shade. The color advertised as coral was more so a hot pink.ย

I can definitely see a lot of wear out of the neutral shade and the coral shade this summer and use the red for the fall or dressier occasions! Nice work, L’Oreal.

  1. I don’t like theese at all, I just feel like there is always something heavy on my lips.. Why don’t we follow each other Btw? ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. I agree about the weight, I almost prefer it after it rubs off a bit, although the smell is what really gets me. Very sad because the colors are really nice! And sounds like a great plan. ๐Ÿ™‚
