Three ways to wear velvet

Velvet seems to be a recurring fall trend, once again making its way from the runway to racks this season. In this post, I styled three looks featuring this texturized trend, but I think my favorite may be the blazer considering how classic, yet versatile it is. Shop my picks below. 🙂

Look one: Casual work wear

This mustard color deceivingly goes with everything and I love all the possible color combinations begging to be paired with it! Another option to consider is pairing the blazer with a gray top, olive jeans, and neutral booties.

velvet blazer, Banana Republic / good vibes t-shirt, Tommy Hilfiger / red pointed flats, Calypso St. Barth / boyfriend jeans, H&M

Look two: Dinner and drinks

I fell in love with these velvet loafers the second I laid eyes on them. Although less versatile than a blazer, these loafers can pretty much dress any one of your denim looks up. Here, I played off the royal blue by introducing it into this cozy sweatshirt.

Look three: Fall Soiree

Go for two fall trends in one, velvet and soft blush/pink touches. I love the vintage feel of the bag and the mix of old and new.

  1. I like the look one and look three. The casual look can just wear to work, to shop, to hang out. The look three is chic and graceful. The velvet dress is excellent and the ankle boot is also charming! Nice try!
