Five trends to try this spring

Laaadies, spring fashion is here and it’s glorious. I am all about the luxe bomber jackets to low-heeled sandals. Spring 2017 is full of fun, color, and lots of greenery. Here’s what designers debuted at NYFW and what’s on tap for spring style.

Seaside vintage and stripes

It’s all about beachwear, with a very classic approach. Throw on a long sleeve striped sweater for when the sun goes down.

Yellow, yellow, yellow

I’m definitely more mustard than yellow when it comes to clothes, but I do love a cheery pop of daffodil every so often.I love pairing yellow with denim, hot pink, and olive.

Khaki and the new trench coat

The OG of neutrals. Take khaki to the next level by dressing it up with bold lipstick, and throw on this season’s version of the trench coat.

70s prints

I’m a sucker for the 70s so I was so excited when I saw printed blouses on the runway. Try a classic top with a more modern cut of denim.

Ruffles and more ruffles

And not the potato chip. Ruffles are cropping up in all shapes and sizes, find what fits you this spring in a Pantone-worthy spring color, I prefer the more modern cut of ruffle, but if you embrace the frills, then by all means!
