I am really loving these warmer breezy days like the one, so naturally, Evan and I spent Saturday roaming around Chicago.
We stumbled across this cool mural that looked similar to the mural in my post, White jeans into fall. I looked at the artists’ name and it said Walter Payton High School, which is amazing the talent coming from these guys considering their age! The theme is a bit on the darker side, but the colors are spot on and it’s just so intriguing, plus it’s making boring walls beautiful!
So I am living in my new gray jeans from Banana Republic. funny as I just wrote a post about white jeans! However, these guys are just as versatile and comfortable as the original, but the dark gray makes these jeans the perfect day to night denim choice.
I also jumped on the cut-out shoulder trend with this thick light gray t-shirt from GAP, the material is SO soft out of their soft spun collection, of course. I just purchased a dress in the same material that I can’t wait to wear to work and then some, and I will definitely share that outfit here!
And I pretty much rely on my moccasins 24/7, so of course, they’re deemed my weekend–or really all the time–shoe of choice. Although you can start to see the wear and tear on these so I may need to finally get a new pair. 🙂
I snagged these rose gold sunnies from Nordstrom for only $12! They’re so fun and I love the metallic rose gold trend that’s currently happening. To complete my casual weekend look, I added a simple gold necklace from a local jeweler, Michelle Starbuck, who is just simply marvelous and I have raved about her before so if you’re in need of a new something flashy then please check her out.
What’s your weekend uniform this spring? Are you a dark jeans or light jeans fan? Or both? How do you wear them? Share in the comments!
