I am such a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal, which is a little funny as I blog mostly about fashion! But at the end of the day I am a total creature of comfort, and of course, I couldn’t pass up this cheeky t-shirt from Old Navy. 🥑🥑
I paired it with my gray, high-rise stretch jeans from Banana Republic, and brown slides for an easy late-spring outfit. For chillier evenings, I’ll throw on my brown leather jacket or a chambray button-down shirt on top.
I love that the holy guacamole is embroidered into the pocket, it definitely won’t fade in the wash!
And as is fitting with a guacamole t-shirt, you should eat guacamole! Lucky for me, my fiance Evan makes an awesome, simple guacamole that he graciously offered to share. 🥑🥑
- 4 ripe avocados
- 2 limes
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 1/2 tomato, diced
- Pinch of chili powder
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 jalepneo–optional
- Cilantro, leaves torn and stems removed
- Sea salt
Slice avocados and scoop into a large bowl. Slice two limes, juice, and add lime juice to bowl. Add half of a diced red onion, one clove of minced garlic if you prefer your guacamole on the garlicky side of life, ripped cilantro leaves, a few pinches of chili powder, diced jalepenos if you wan’t to kick up the heat, and salt for taste. Mash together, add additional salt if needed, and then serve that up fresh with tortilla chips and more limes.
