With my new job as a design consultant at Arhaus, I’ll be working with clients and need to dress professionally to reflect the brand. I panicked a little about my current shoe wardrobe, my budget, and how to find a few pairs of comfortable, stylish, trendy, and work-appropriate shoes.
Here’s what I chose, all for under $40 each and all FOUR totaling $110.
Armour sandal in red, Kelly and Katie via DSW: $16, free shipping
These shoes are SO comfortable and such a steal. I originally tried to order these in blush as well but the buggers sold out before they even shipped to me, but at least I snagged the one. I plan on wearing these with my cropped pants and flared midi dresses.
Holt ankle boot in caramel, Circus by Sam Edelman: $29.74, free shipping
I scored these brand new Sam Edelman shoes from Amazon. I was bummed when my go-to brown leather pair bit the dust this month, goes to show they are not Chicago winter-proof! Luckily for me, I found a pair from his Circus line for a fraction of the Perry boot cost!
Loafer mule in faux leather in black, Gap Factory: $27
These are just the pair of comfortable and stylish black leather, or faux leather in my case, mules I was looking for. I was struggling to find a pair that was affordable but not cheap and when these arrived I couldn’t be happier. They aren’t the most sturdy, and I wouldn’t wear these on harsh weather days, but they’re perfect for a season or two!
Wenda cut out booties, Universal Thread via Target, $36
These flats were the most expensive on my list, but well worth it. And nothing compared to the price of the Free People Royale version, albeit with real leather, but I’ll take the knockoff Plus I love the structure of the flat and that it can be worn as either a bootie or a flat–I’m thinking about pairing with long skirts and skinny pants.
